In the magical  Kingdom of Bhutan, I visited museums and antique shops to create to most authentic Land of the Thunder Dragon Buddha. The sale of antiques outside Bhutan is forbidden, so I studied, made rubbings and sketched during our 3 week visit. This textural "antique" Buddha is what I created to carry a piece of Bhutan in your heart.

Bhutan is located in the eastern Himalayas, bordering Tibet and India and is well  known for pioneering the concept of  GNH, Gross National Happiness. Something we could all us more of.
